How can a team plan and track its tasks on one web platform?
During my internship at Poulina Group Holding, I built a task management platform: a REST API in ASP.NET Core 8 (Entity Framework Core, SQL Server) secured with JWT, and an Angular interface. Sign-up with e-mail confirmation, secure login, management of each user’s tasks and of users by role.

Situation
Internship at Poulina Group Holding (June 2024). The subject: a task management platform where each user organises and tracks their tasks in a secure space, with rights that depend on their role.
Product
- Sign-up with data validation and a confirmation e-mail.
- Secure login: a token is issued to the user at each login.
- Task management: create, view, edit and delete your tasks, with their status and date.
- Two roles: user and administrator, who manages accounts.
- Interactive API documentation, to try every feature.
System
Built inside a company: the detailed architecture stays confidential. Here is the stack.
- Front end: Angular.
- MVC architecture: models and controllers on the ASP.NET Core side, the Angular interface as the view.
- Back end: REST API in ASP.NET Core 8 (C#), with dependency injection.
- Data: SQL Server through Entity Framework Core and its migrations.
- Security: JWT authentication, passwords hashed with BCrypt.
- Services: e-mail sending (MailKit), Swagger / OpenAPI documentation.
